Taddington

Situated in the limestone centre of Derbyshire over 1000 feet above sea level, this neighbor hood cannot fail to appeal to all who love the wild beauty of the hills and dales of the country. About 1.5 miles from the village stands the Five Well Tumulus, one of the best examples of an ancient burial place now surviving. The old church of St. Michaels and All Angels has some interesting monuments and brasses, and the register dates from 1640.
