Tideswell

Tideswell may well be termed a village of the mountain, for it lies in the midst of high limestone expanses on every side. Its church, known as 'The Cathedral of the Peak' was built entirely during the 14th century. Despite the apparent isolation of this little town, the church contains some notable monuments, brasses and other relics of its ancient benefactor.
